Now I know I'm on the right track after that warm endorsement from brASS. :D

On the "39 weeks" instead of "39 Months", I tried to correct it when I realized the mistake but I was too late. Maybe a Mod can make the correction. I would hate to offend our liberal friends here. Unlike them, I try to keep my posts truthful. :p

Please also point out to IQ47 that he should know better using ANYTHING that is sourced from the Bureau of Labor Statistics as truth regarding employment data. He should know better because he has been shown how it is repeatedly false and screwed up.

As usual, you left out the good parts of the Bush 8 years (first few years strong job growth despite Clinton's bubble burst, 9/11, two wars, etc) and started the chart from the point where the Dems took control of Congress and Barney et al started overregulating, tying Bush's hands and causing the financial meltdown by lending money to anyone who could fog a mirror! :(

  9. There were good parts? Other than Bush, bullhorn in hand, standing on the rubble of the Towers, there were few good parts, if any. One could argue that rarely, if ever, had a American President been presented with such an opportunity to lead a people united. He and his administration completely screwed that up with one mis-step after another. A true leader would have built a America stronger than ever, domestically and abroad. For that moment in time he had everyone on board, and he blew it.

He may not have been perfect but he was a whole lot better than the this inexperienced, incompetent, divisive socialist we are saddled with now.
