The new super PACs can't coordinate directly with campaigns, but many have played a major role in the Republican primary contests, raising millions of dollars to use in negative advertising in early contests such as Iowa, South Carolina and Florida. About the only true thing Obama said in this was at the 2:00 mark when Lauer asked him if he would agree to a clean campaign Obama replied: Youll be able to see how we conduct ourselves on the campaign, it will be consistent with how i conducted myself in 2008, and as president. In other words itll be more class warfare and negativity, and blaming everyone else for his problems.
