Allow me to repeat myself: That means all executive orders. Giving power to a foreign law enforcement body over your and my rights is insane, given the hatred many harbor toward this county. The fact that a prior admin foolishly put a mechanism in place should not be a reason for another to abuse it. Aside from the comments about the right (since the same could be said of the left), I agree with much of your quoted statement.
There is no reason to abuse executive power, but precedent of previous abusers paves the way... Face it, we will hear the same BS from Obama as we did from Bush: National Security, War on terrorism, etc.
