I don't know. I think BO would be more dangerous than Cheney. Obama is an idiot who knows nothing about guns. Besides, Cheney only shoots lawyers which is commendable.
His head is down on the stock rather than bringing the stock up to his cheek. He's shooting it more like a rifle than a shotgun. With a shotgun you are, or should be, shooting at a moving target so rather than aim it, you point it. You bring the stock of the shotgun to your cheek first, then you bring it back into your shoulder.

Lot of SOCOM operators agree with you. That's what got them the SCAR heavy. You can get a AR in .308. A lot of them are for long range shooting but you can get one with a 16 inch barrel. The whole advange of 5.56 is that you can hump more of it. If you're riding rather than walking, that's not an advantage any more. As a home defense weapon however, I would worry about hitting the neighbors three blocks over. 5.56 doesn't penetrate well, .308 goes through drywall like it is kleenex.
