  1. A new report claims that President Barack Obama flies his own personal barber from Chicago to Washington D.C twice a month to cut his hair.

According to German Public Radio, Mr Obama's Hyde Park barber of the past 17 years Zariff gets flown to the capital and at $300 for a round trip flight that adds up to $7,200 annually in airfares.

The MailOnline spoke to Zariff, who refused to confirm or deny the frequency with which he trims Mr Obama's tresses, nor whether the president paid for these trips himself or if the taxpayer funded them.

'We make sure that he looks his best at all times,' said Zariff to the MailOnline.

A commercial flight between Washington, D.C., and Chicago peaks at around $300 for a round trip flight. That adds up to $7,200 a year on airfare, in addition to $504 on cuts.

It is unclear if President Obama personally pays for the flights, or the White House does.
