REDUCE GOVERNMENTAL SPENDING???? It's very simple actually. Radical entitlement spending reform will do it. By the way, the budget deficit, is minor in comparison to the unfunded entitlement obligations that our country will face in the coming years. Obama has proposed more spending increases than what would be covered by his proposed tax increases, so please don't think that he is the answer to our debt issues. With that said, this is where Bush failed the most in my opinion. He spent like a liberal democrat. Most people wouldn't have nearly as much of a problem with some small tax increases if they had any confidence that the government would use the extra money to pay down debt, but I think we all know that won't happen.
No CEO could ever survive if they ran a budget the way our government has, does, and most likely will continue to.
privatize. shrink government. lower taxes charge it all to some infinitely revolving credit card, which massa never has to pay ( at least not while his party is in office) horseshit. the republican party has robbed us blind shrinking government by adding a profit motive to those they tricked us into hiring by fooling enough of the gullible rubes into the simply ludicrous belief that a corporation could do the job for less cost than the government, ostensibly because the innate "efficiency" of the corporation would offset its inherent, legally obligated responsibility to provide the worst possible product for the highest possible cost, all in the sacred name of the bottom line. how stupid do u have to be to swallow that one ? never mind. gwb WAS selected twice, was he not ? hillary has yet to admit she is a hopeless loser, propped up by the neocon enablers of the right wing, so that she can be effortlessly killed, as the progressive female glass-ceilinged albatross, right ? People would still rather engage in an all-encompassing straw man debate about a person's preacher than his own positions, true ? then fine, situation normal, sir: all fucked up
Ken Fisher thinks Obama will be better for the stock market. He wrote a recent op/ed piece in Baron's directly saying so. I don't take his opinion lightly; he's a master investor, a conservative, and that should give anyone something to think about.
Obama = strong dollar and the only hope for the future of US economy (Waaaaaaaaaaah my long term dividend taxes might go up) no more endless wars ~ those who think otherwise should have learned from the futile attempts of the USSR to control Afganistan which bankrupted the empire. (proud to be an AMERICAN) CT
You're kidding, right? Him being elected is an invitation of more terrorist attacks. Obama could be the anti christ.
