true, although when we did give afghanistan weapons they were initially used to overthrow the ussr. only after did bin laden come and use the weapons for terrorism. still not acceptable, the truth is 'they', in general (sunni or shia), do have a shoddy reputation, but bin laden has been stripped of his saudi citizenship... hope this isn't another mistake made by barack hussein obama. only time will tell.

I think this is a mistake. In matter of 5-15 years these people can become well armed enemy.
This has happened before in history don't think it didn't.

whole of early 90s, bin laden was in africa and shifted to afganistan only in late 90s. whole of early 90s, US ally Pakistan was propping and cultivating Talibian in Afganistan and US was all along winking to the development and graduation of Afganistan into a terrorism stronghold.

not one but several parties are to blame :D

  4. Bin Laden is not a Saudi prince. In fact, they revoked his citizenship in the 90's.

  5. Selling weapons to other countries will ultimately lead to World War 3. Selling weapons can only delay the ultimate fate of World War 3. If USA is desperate for creating jobs then go for World war 3, instead of selling weapons.

  7. Osama bin laden's father is the owner of the biggest construction company in Saudi Arabia.

In 1998 (not sure), Osama bin laden was on a hunting trip with a saudi prince. That's the reason Bill clinton cancelled a toma hawk cruise missile strike on Osama bin laden. Otherwise Osama bin laden would have been dead in 1998.

Osama bin laden has contacts with saudi prince.

  10. Just remembered. When The Saudi royal family invited USA to protect Saudi Arabia, Osama bin laden offered the saudi royal family that he will invite/call his mujahideen fighters who had defeated the Russians, to protect Saudi Arabia. But the saudi royal family rejected Osama bin laden's offer. That is how USA and Osama war started.

Osama bin laden has good contacts with the saudi royal family.
