Strange. If I were a business owner, I'd love to open a store in Camden. Low crime, lots of young urban professionals and alot of demand for organic choices.
No. Camden is not have low crime. Philadelphia is not have low crime. Camden and Philadelphia have many professionals. Philadelphia really have more fresh food market. Why?
Do you think that Camden doesn't have low crime because they have no access to fresh fruits and vegetables?
I've always been a supporter of "beans and ammo". Maybe that could be the focus of a new campaign by Michele O to help inner city residents.
Both Philadelphia and Camden are 100% run by democrats. Maybe Obama and the rest of his party ought to ask themselves why so many areas that are under democrat control are such shitholes.
I find it both interesting and revealing that conservatives would be so clueless as to why there are few to no supermarkets in high-poverty areas. Perhaps if they were to occasionally venture outside their gated communities . . . And if they really want some answers, there's hardly a dearth of information online.
Actually conservatives know exactly why. Its Because no one in their right mind would open a business in one of those crime ridden shit holes, why would they do that? What benefit do they have? What successful business owner is going to say to himself, Gee, Ferguson looks like the place i want to set up shop after they just torched all their businesses in a hissy fit that was based on a lie. Why open a business where nobody has any money, and your only customers are going to be the people coming in to rob you on a daily basis. Why would someone risk their life to lose money, only a dumbfuck liberal would think it is reasonable to do so. Here is the reason no one opens a business in Camden, and it isnt rocket science. On October 29, 2012, the FBI announced Camden was ranked first in violent crime per capita of cities with over 50,000 residents, surpassing Flint, Michigan.[211] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camden,_New_Jersey
"Goldenberg Development is one of the region’s most diverse development companies. With an exciting stable of residential and mixed-use projects that complement its commercial portfolio, we are able to create positive transformation through the projects we develop." http://www.goldenbergdevelopment.co...ial-camden-supermarket-a-welcome-development/ supermarket-a-welcome-development/ In a city where there is seldom a reason to celebrate, plans for the first new supermarket in three decades are welcome. The news in Camden may seem like a small thing to suburban residents, who can choose from a variety of supermarkets that compete for their business and offer extensive selections of fruits and vegetables. But many impoverished places like Camden have few stores large enough to carry much fresh food, leading to their classification as “food deserts.” The planned ShopRite holds promise not only for healthier eating habits in Camden, but also a desperately needed economic boost.
