Obama: Bully In Chief

Discussion in 'Politics' started by OccupyThis, May 12, 2012.

  1. Here's what happens when the president of the United States publicly targets a private citizen for the crime of supporting his opponent.

Frank VanderSloot is the CEO of Melaleuca Inc. The 63-year-old has run that wellness-products company for 26 years out of tiny Idaho Falls, Idaho. Last August, Mr. VanderSloot gave $1 million to Restore Our Future, the Super PAC that supports Mitt Romney.

Three weeks ago, an Obama campaign website, "Keeping GOP Honest," took the extraordinary step of publicly naming and assailing eight private citizens backing Mr. Romney. Titled "Behind the curtain: a brief history of Romney's donors," the post accused the eight of being "wealthy individuals with less-than-reputable records." Mr. VanderSloot was one of the eight, smeared particularly as being "litigious, combative and a bitter foe of the gay rights movement."...

  2. If it is a lie, then he should sue, and he will win.

If it is true, well, if you can't stand the heat.......

  3. In other words you condone bullying.

  4. Democrats impeached Richard Nixon for, among other things, having an enemies list. In nixon's case, he really did have diehard enemies, not just citizens who had the temerity to contribute to his opponents.

We had a taste of these goon-style politics with Clinton, but Obama and his chicago gangsters have a lifetime's experience with it.

  5. Obama bullying when the have Romney having other kids hold down a guy to cut his hair? Romney too afraid of the guy to do it himself. How nice.

  6. Frank Vandersloot is the national finance co-chairman of the Romney campaign and, through his company Melaleuca, has donated $1 million to Restore Our Future. He is also a “litigious, combative, and a bitter foe of the gay rights movement” who “spent big” on ads in an “ultimately unsuccessful effort to force Idaho Public Television to cancel a program that showed gays and lesbians in a favorable light to school children.”

The above is what was said about Frank Vandersloot in http://www.keepinggophonest.com/behind-the-curtain-a-brief-history-of-romneys-donors/ If this paragraph it isn't true, then give us the evidence.

Nixon used the machinery of government in a surreptitious manner to harass
his enemies, such as ordering the IRS to perform tax audits on his enemies, and breaking into Daniel Ellsberg's psychiatrist's office. There is a big difference between Nixon's extra-legal and illegal behavior and what a campaign website openly says about an opponent's supporters.

How deliciously ironic it is that the homophobic Mr. Vandersloot is getting dicked up his ass by the Democrats.
