VIDEO- BOOK HURLED AT OBAMA IN PHILADELPHIA Posted by Jim Hoft on Sunday, October 10, 2010, 8:44 PM The state-run media today reported that Obamaâs Sunday event, before a mostly black audience, was somewhat smaller and less enthusiastic than last weekâs rally in Madison⦠Except for the book that was hurled at his head that the media ignored. <object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gp4VCTRAOJk&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gp4VCTRAOJk&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object> (second 24 after he puts his hand down) Yes, itâs true. Our state-run media is so corrupt that they will not report that a book was hurled at Obama and barely missed hitting his head. Only the British media had the guts to report on it.
1,078 Articles Written About Obamaâs Philly Speech â Only One Mentions A Book Was Hurled at His Head â¦Update: Make That 2 Media Outlets Posted by Jim Hoft on Sunday, October 10, 2010, 7:47 PM Hmm. There were 1,078 articles today written about Barack Obamaâs speech today in Philadelphia. Only one article, written by Britainâs Daily Mail, mentioned that a book was tossed at his head. It narrowly missed him. Once again, it took the British press to report on this incident. (The Daily Mail) And the AP also didnât mention that a streaker was arrested at the rally today, too. Either our media is even more corrupt than we thought or the Daily Mail has the story wrong. Would they really hide this from the American public? UPDATE: Make that 2 media outlets reported on the book. Reuters also reported on the incident: Our US media really is that corrupt.
I dont think anyone can deny the golden treatment Obama gets from the media I remember when this happened to Bush it was played 24 hours a day <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OM3Z_Kskl_U?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OM3Z_Kskl_U?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
The circle around the book was probably not necessary. Or maybe they just wanted to make sure we didn't think a tree was being thrown at him.
Better Late Than Never? MSM starting to report about the book. Here's CBS' take: <embed src="http://cnettv.cnet.com/av/video/cbsnews/atlantis2/cbsnews_player_embed.swf" scale="noscale" salign="lt" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" background="#333333" width="425" height="279" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" FlashVars="si=254&uvpc=http://cnettv.cnet.com/av/video/cbsnews/atlantis2/uvp_cbsnews.xml&contentType=videoId&contentValue=50094328&ccEnabled=false&hdEnabled=false&fsEnabled=true&shareEnabled=false&dlEnabled=false&subEnabled=false&playlistDisplay=none&playlistType=none&playerWidth=425&playerHeight=239&vidWidth=425&vidHeight=239&autoplay=false&bbuttonDisplay=none&playOverlayText=PLAY%20CBS%20NEWS%20VIDEO&refreshMpuEnabled=true&shareUrl=http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=6946817n&adEngine=dart&adCallTemplate=http%3A//www.cbs.com/thunder/ad.doubleclick.net/adx/request.php%3F/can/news/%7B%25videoNode%7D%3Bsite%3Dnews%3Bshow%3D%7B%25videoParentNode%7D%3B%7B%25videoFeatPath%7Dpartner%3Dnews%3Blvid%3D%7B%25videoId%7D%3Boutlet%3DCBS+Production%3BnoAd%3D%7B%25videoNoAd%7D%3Btype%3Dros%3Bformat%3DFLV%3Bpos%3D%7B%25posDart%7D%3Bsz%3D320x240%3Bord%3D%7B%25random%7D%3B&adPreroll=true&adPrerollType=PreContent&adPrerollValue=1" /> Question is, what was the book? Obama's "Audacity of Hope" or an early copy of "Decision Points"?
It was a teacher throwing Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals. It's recommended reading for all kids: http://www.nea.org/tools/17231.htm
Maverick: "Tower, this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby." Air Boss Obama: "That's a negative, Ghost Rider, the pattern is full."
But the incident was also marked with controversy as U.S. media questioned why the Secret Service - whose members are supposed to be willing to take a bullet for the President - were not close enough to Mr Bush to deflect the attack.
