Obama hasn't reached out much in substance, only in appearance, which is exactly his style and as we learned from Clinton that is good enough for the american people. Congressional demos shut out republicans in the stimulus bill, the first major piece of legislation
All I can say is anyone saying anything of that nature about returning vets should be watched very closely. This is 100 times worse than what some Vietnam era vets went through. Use you up and spit you out. Makes my blood boil.
The public is brainwashed and ignorant nowadays. During the GWB years at the time when the economy was stellar by any means of measurement forty percent of those polled thought we were in a depression... I could see that the press would never, ever, give GWB a good economy and they never did. Now they are giving this administration with it's huge Wall Street influence props all day every day... After Obama finally let the Seals do their thing on the Pirates his approval rating had to rise.. every time Clinton commanded the Armies his approval rating was way up never mind the fool's errands they were sent on.......
Of course not. But, judging by the nature of some of the commentary, I think a fair number of people are using "disagreement" as cover.
This was what AAA stated in his previous post: What he stated was based on facts - Paul Krugman did criticize Obama's economic policies, five CIA chiefs did criticize Obama for his decisions affecting homeland security, and Janet Napolitano's department did circulate a memo warning about returning Middle East vets as being at risk of turning into domestic terrorists. Your response to his post was this: I did not see any hint of a personal attack in AAA's post, but you as usual not only resorted to an ad hominem assault against him but again conveniently flashed out the race card to support your lack of an argument. This is a pattern I have observed regarding your posts in the P & R forum - instantly label a fellow poster a racist if that person disagrees with any of Obama's decisions or policies. You seem to have a very queer kind of devotion and affinity for Obama, which I find quite puzzling since he is not even your president as you yoourself are not an American citizen. If you need more proof and are in the mood to further embarrass yourself as to how you resort to personal attacks instead of presenting valid arguments, I'd be happy to dig out those posts for you. Just let me know.
Nice try, reg. The rather unprecedented vehemence with which some posters lash out against Obama, with or without basis, is perhaps just a tad too visceral and continuous for my taste. Therefore, I will continue to interpret it my way, and you can nod and wink with the best of them as you please.
Nice dodge, Tdoggy. But the "rather unprecedented vehemence with which some posters lash out....with or without basis" are coming from people like you in this forum. If you need further proof, reread AAA's post and your immediate reaction to his post. Can you spot the difference? Or are you going to continue with your personal attacks and justify them by conveniently flashing the race card again and again?
