I would say the same about you, but we both know that no parent dreams of their kid growing up to be a lowly shingler, that job is usually reserved for ex convicts, and people with learning disabilities.
What the hell are you talking about now? You do know that capacity utilization was a lagging indicator back when we had a manufacturing base, don't you? And you do know that it's only usefulness was when it reached a high enough level that increases in manufacturing capacity were at exhaustion leading to higher prices of goods, don't you? And you do know that capacity utilization at today's levels provides nearly zero information about the state of growth in the economy, don't you? I don't think you do or you wouldn't mention it.
1. govt spending is always going up. f tax revenues had not gone up after mellon, kennedy and reagan tax cuts you might have a point. 2. nevertheless you seem to spin it out the bush tax cuts caused revenues to go down.
Actually, your job is precisely what motivates me, but not in the way you think. Every time i keep socking away more money instead of buying something stupid i always tell myself i dont want to end up being 60 years old and still shingling roofs for a living.
1) So is GDP. 2) I didn't say revenues fell after the Bush tax cuts, I said they rose because of increasing government spending. (I did neglect to mention the housing bubble.) Anyway, these don't make Bush a Keynesian, the economy didn't have weak demand, they make him just another irresponsible republican.
He's planning on coming your way as soon as he smells disaster. So, if you see an old toothless redneck driving a beat up pickup with Texas plates that says "BigArrow Roofing, Lubbock TX" on the door, say, 'hi,' once you pick yourself up off the sidewalk from laughing so hard.
I just can't believe he's from Texas unless maybe Austin. Lubbock, Texas, I can't imagine unless a local nut house is there, and lets him post.
