Oanda - Wtf ?????!!!!!!!

Discussion in 'Forex Brokers' started by forestgril, Mar 10, 2008.

  1. He's referring to the orange square -- that's his sell limit, unfilled. These are standard candles that are compressed on the platform, not HA-candles.

How would Oanda gain? The need volume to survive. It's only suspect in hindsight.

  4. Also be aware that the spreads are higher than normal at the time of that high around 2-4 pips on eur/usd

No, Oanda's Min/Max chart is what you want whenever you need to definitively resolve a fill question. Candle chart doesn't cut it - it merely shows the average b/a price, regardless of spread.

As an aside, you can click on "Show Bid Price" and/or "Show Ask Price" buttons on any type chart (in the upper right-hand corner) to see the dashed horizontal lines, but only in real time, not historically.

    High ask = 1.54026 @3:25-3:30am ET, so high bid ≤ 1.54017.

Your sell limit was 1.5402, so no fill... no foul.

If you want to fade the round figures, try the other side - under for a short, over for a long.

    Good thread title... not.
