  1. Sorry, there is absolutely no analogy and no reason to say things like that.

  2. There are rumours that Oanda closes accounts that explode. If You earn money too fast and constantly, they say goodbye. This response from Oanda is for account user who made

    150 GBP to be 40000 GBP

    in 2.5 months

    "Thank you for your interest in OANDA Corporation and for trading on
    our proprietary FXTrade? platform.

    The Customer Agreement which you accepted when you established your
    FXTrade account allows either you or OANDA to terminate the Agreement
    without cause at any time (ref: FXTrade Customer Agreement, section
    26(a)).

    In accordance with that section, we have elected to close your FXTrade
    account and to terminate your Agreement with OANDA, in full, effective
    at 5:00 pm Eastern time on April 19, 2007.

    At that time, OANDA shall, without liability or further notice to you,
    and in full accordance with the terms of the Agreement:
    (a) cancel all of your outstanding orders;
    (b) initiate close out orders for all of your open positions; and
    terminate all of your BoxOption? contracts prior to the period of time
    bounded by their boxes;
    (c) deduct from your FXTrade account all unpaid amounts you owe to
    OANDA, if any;
    (d) refund to you all amounts remaining in your FXTrade account, if
    any; and
    (e) close your account.

    You may issue closing trade orders on FXTrade at your convenience up
    until 5:00 pm Eastern time on April 19th, 2007. However, we ask that
    you refrain from issuing any orders on FXTrade that open new positions
    or increase existing positions that you may already have. Any such
    executed orders will be reversed by OANDA.

    If you have any questions concerning the process described in the
    preceding paragraphs (but not the decision to close your account which
    is final), please do not hesitate to contact our customer service
    department by replying to frontdesk@oanda.com <
    mailto:frontdesk@oanda.com>, phoning us at +1-212-858-7690, or
    chatting through our Live Help chat service by clicking on the link in

    Yours truly,...."

    News Flash:

    a broker, any broker, can terminate your account on a whim. Read you account agreement form that you signed, either physically or electronically.

    Also, a story your brother's wife's cousin who heard it from their hairdresser about their son's teacher's husband does not constitute verifiable information in regards to the MASSIVE amts or returns that anyone claims to have made on a public forum.

    150 to 40k in 50 days trading? Highly unlikely.

  6. I know, You can't do it Ivanovich. If You could, You would not work for them. But it is possible, when scalping in a proper way.

    The problem is inliquidity with biggers sums of money. Then they probably put Your orders on the interbank market and You will have to wait for another side of transaction.

  7. forestgril - what I just don't understand is, how you can possibly attempt to trade with such distrust for the market and the brokers?

    You know they say if you go searching for something, it's likely you'll find it. Perhaps you should shift your focus to searching for profits?

    And as far as stop hunting, I have a genius idea for you - don't use a stop.

    But ,if with knowledge's of all that, you are happy

    Client accounts are held with Oanda, it was their choice not mine and they're comfortable with where their money is. Most client accounts are not compounded initially and clients are advised to withdraw profits on a regular basis to reduce their initial capital exposure to trading risk and to risks associated with broker insolvency.

    I have my personal trading account with CMC using bank guarantees, and funds held in that account are limited to cover margin requirements and drawdown, and they fall well within the FSA and FSCS limits.

    There's absolutely no need to have large sums of money on deposit in broker accounts anyway.

    Hey snake

    you make no f*ckin sense with your prose. In fact it is quite stupid the way you write on this board.

    Maybe you'd feel more comfortable at the "Slithering Web Forum" instead. All ages are welcome there.
