ssss, you're experience is limited because you have only ever traded demo competitions which are not representative of trading in a live market with real cash.

That is right about experience ,but not in all correct about demand in presentation in the real market

As you knew reward related to risk

Some contests with paper money offer by 0 real money risk
    100 000 $ real money reward (in USA 1 ml n$ reward)

more of them in Germany through tax law

    Price money are not taxed
    ####################

Exist low quantity of paper money contest winner
with price some 100 000 $ in Germany
Tax is not apply through law

    In Germany some 10 persons

Did you knew a lot of persons from Elitetrader

real money risk 100 000 reward after tax(Germany more as 40%) in two month or in 12 month ,if you wish

If any person exist ( author is doubt) ,than risk in he#s
case to win 100 000 $ would more

2-5000 risk capital + commission (or spread +commission)

P.S. cabletrader wrote ...There's really no need to divide capital between 3 or 4 different brokers, it's pointless and just makes for extra administration.

Your problem Sir ,Exist of lot sucessfull investor/trader's

  7. Don't these people understand that they are trading against a for-profit dealing desk? Of course they are going to get hosed trying to scalp or put in 10 pip stops against them.

The only thing an account like Oanda is good for is longer term swings or holds. Trying to daytrade there is just plain stupid.

You keep your head buried deep in the sand of narrow-minded ignorance while the rest of us clean up....

  10. Yep, it's bizarre, all right. You know for sure that when someone claims they're cleaning up trading against a bucket shop (i.e. trading at a bucket shop where the desk is the market), they're most likely working at McDonald's and counting pips in their sleep, or else they're employees of the shop in question.

Not that there's anything wrong with working at McDonald's...

Lately I've been dabbling in the EUR.USD through IDEALPRO, and even there I get what in the markets I normally trade would be considered pretty shabby fills. It's supposed to be an ECN model. Mind you, maybe this is the reality of trading an ECN model, I don't know. I have Button Trader configured to get me optimal fills but sometimes I get 3 pips slippage in fairly calm markets.
