I have no interest in protecting Oanda. Is the June nonfarm chart available? I cannot access it on the platform.
I'm not sure, I don't use their charts, but the price comparison should still be available on their website http://fxlabs.oanda.com/cgi/fxlabs.pl?id=2 (ps what does IOW mean?)
Go to the oanda-website -> FxLabs -> FxCompare. With this tool you can get snapshots of the entire bid/ask tick history.
That was exactly my reaction! I just couldn't understand how there could be so many bad ticks on so many pairs over that 10-second period, I've never seen anything like that before. Oanda's reaction made me even more suspicious, instead of coming up with a plausible explanation they more or less said 'we're not interested, we quote what we want and we don't care what others are quoting'. I'm still not sure how it could have happened, or how Oanda can insist those quotes were correct.
Atticus Slammed With $5B Loss Sorry about your loss (and I thought reading about Palin's daughter was THE news of the day). j/k (couldn't resist)
hahaaa BUT DON'T INTERFERE WITH THE TOPIC! Each one really searching for info about Oanda (scam or not) should get here and read the whole thread. A wise person will not open an account with them, it would be just to much risk.
Oanda performed extremely well across today's NFP, solid platform and not one mystery spike as far as I could see! An uncomplicated 54 pips with no platform or fill problems, perfect, this is the way it should be all the time! 12 trades, 11 wins, 1 loss for 2 pips, no slippage. ~
Complete rubbish, have had a 6 figure account (not grown into 7 yet) for years, platform worked perfectly through NFP, again. Oanda has been the best in business ever since they opened shop.
You have to assume they hedge our trades. Its the only logical business model. If shitty firms like FXCM do it then I'm sure Oanda does.
