If you are concerned about stop hunting I have found a tool that hides your stops, it is fxspyder.com The only downside is that they only work with Oanda at this time. But the company states they are adding FXCM and then some others. Since Oanda has the lowest spreads now that this platform is available it looks promising. Actually, its pretty sweet.

  4. Multiple errors in English??? I wasn't sure that that was "English" in the first place... my bad. Even if your grammar were correct, WTH are you talking about? Is the" author" feeling alright?

Seriously, your "English" is so bad that I cannot take what you say seriously at all. You keep posting that spot ECNs are not pure agencies... you know what? You are right, they are not. Get over it! It's all retail! Every one of them will reserve the right to trade.
All you do is praise Hotspot and slander Dukascopy and MBT. Have you ever traded with any of these firms? If not, then I kindly ask you to stfu!

  7. WTF's up with Oanda today, is it because it's Friday 13th

Slippage on every single trade bar one.....and the market was hardly moving!

22 trades all with a 5 pip target:
18 with negative slippage of between 1 and 6
3 with positive slippage of between 1 and 2
And just 1 trade filled at the price clicked!

I guess they don't appreciate my trading style any more.....

  8. Not sure, mate. I'm not having any issues - but I'm not trading much in fx. Making plans to buy a bucket of my company's shares - too preoccupied at the moment.

  10. Cabletrader: yes i have had this too - it went away a day later. There are some threads about this strange slippage on the oanda forums too. I attributed that to either a quirk on oandas side or a temporal high latency of my connection.

On another note, shortly after this months NFP release, it was the first time i saw a genuine Oanda-specific move. The price on EUR/USD went down ~30 pips for a few seconds, then went straight up to where it was. No other broker had a move like this, and i checked quite a few using eSignal (Hotspot, MB trading, Gain,..). They usually release a note on the forums when there is an invalid spike, not so this time, so i guess they treat it as valid move. Anyways, heres the screenshot from their history tool:
