I get all my Standard and Poor Index breakdowns (components) at this website http://www.spglobal.com but i cannot find the components to the NYSE Tick - even after looking at www.nyse.com... did i miss the correct page at NYSE or does anyone know a place that lists the NYSE Tick components straight out... thanks... cj...
If you want the sp600 components you can get them here on this web page... the sp600 matches the Russell 2000 index at 99% correlation and leads it due to high quality stocks... http://www2.standardandpoors.com/se...51&i=70&si=null&d=null&xcd=600&dt=13-APR-2006 still can't find the list for the NYSE tick components... anybody have the web page for the list of the NYSE Tick componetns... thanks
"The NYSE Tick Index sum up the TICK of each individually traded symbols in NYSE into one number. This number is called the TICK index." Quote from: http://newsletter.neoticker.com/?p=112 Someone else has to confirm though, I don't use it personally. So from that statement, assume every symbol traded on the NYSE is calculated?
lol.. TICK isn't an Index for you to get components. TICK = Advancing issues Traded on the NYSE - Declining Issuess Traded on the NYSE. ...a TICK of 1,000 would indicate the extreme bullishness in the markets.
Ok, my error... i thought i read somewhere that the TICK was composed of only 1600 out of the total number of NYSE stocks... (#3800 +/-) i didn't know that it was all of them included in the reading... that makes it pretty simple... thanks... cj..
