They must be trading that relatively small universe of stocks for a reason, don't you think?

Geez, another example of how being consumed and engrossed by trading can be detrimental to the other arts.

    Quote from Hamlet:

There is a lot of heated debate on the specialist threads. It seems as polarizing as Roe v. Wade. I think the specialist haters are more vocal, while the more experienced astute traders quietly understand the former's foolhardy thinking. Here is the chance to vote.

The poll is broken out according to successfulness of voters.

Someone that disagrees with you is guilty of "foolhardy thinking".

    zdreg:

on the basis of 1 sentence it seems that you come to the conclusion that Hamlet feels that someone who disagrees with him is “guilty of foolhardy thinking.” quite possibly hamlet is saying that those who want the specialist t o go are foolhardy in their thinking because they don’t how the specialist benefits the successful trader.

guilt or innocence is for another forum

perhaps the term "hamletspeak" will become part of the language
and you will get the credit:)

incidentally, what is the definiton of hamletspeak?

You certainly picked out an absurd comment from this thread, but not nearly as absurd as this (my personal favorite):

no matter how men can agree with one another they will always try to outshine the other.

jimrockford definitely has a unique writing style and is a welcome addition to this board especially since many posters give the notion of literacy a bad name.

Literacy and eloquence are fine, but when lacking in objectivity and class, the speaker sounds like an ass.

Hamletspeak could be analogous to what the specialist does.

The specs are literate and eloquent in terms of their work, which is fine.

The thieving they do lacks objectivity and class, which likens the spec to an ass.

zdreg, are there any fit specialist women to seduce, or do we have to fade them for their crookedness?:D
