I have just begun my trading career today (a nice day to start Djia +480) and was wondering where I could find a listing of leaders and laggards in different sectors on the NYSE...I did a search on ET before, but it was pretty fruitless any help would be appreciated
There are many sites with that information. Go to http://www.daytradingstocks.com/ It is the mother of all link collections. It will keep you busy for a long time. fwiw I use the free quotes from scottrade.com - You have to register, but it is free. They have the best free streaming quotes and charts that I am yet to see. They also have a "top 10" applet that will tell you NYSE gainers/losers/%gain-losers/ top volume.
