Is there any reasonable way to play for Price Improvement on the NYSE under the new Hybrid System? Certain situations or stocks?
We will still be getting "some" price improvement, when the Specialist dictates a "slow" market. In the meantime, after a bunch of lobbying, we are being paid for providing liquidity on ARCA (first time anyone has paid for listed stocks, that I know of)...so we get .002 for parking on ARCA, and then unwind on NYSE (no additional fees). This should provide another profit center. Don
