I am giving my shares "one way" In reality I am trading twice that. For example today I traded 6000 shares round trip. I pay .9 cents per share. And I usually go up a few bullets(married puts) which also adds to my fees.
***Tuesday 1/21*** 19000 round trip 612 gross 339 net just wanted to get the ball rolling again after the long weekend. ***Wednesday 1/22******************** I fucked my open orders by entering the wrong closing prices for EVERY STOCK...resulting in 14 fill right off the bell. Very lucky today as I made money on 9 of those positions. Upped my size to 1200 per position. 34600 round trip 1214 gross 854 net ***Thursday 1/23************************ Open order strategy has become my bread and basket. After 9:45 I really am not trading too much. For the next few weeks I will always take the money and run. Upped my position size on open order to 1400. Will stay here for at least a week. 10400 shares 704 gross 591 net Right now it is 10 am and I am pretty content with my day.. but I will stick around till 11:30 to see if I get any "layups"
2800 94 Gross 64 Net Didn't trade too much today. Looking forward to next week. This month is looking decent so far. This is what I would consider an average month because the first two weeks were very slow. Just need to stay consistent and I'll reach my monthly goal and get 2003 started on the right foot. Need to build off of January.
Monday 1/27 9400 397 gross 297 net Tuesday 4800 -136 gross -186 Broke my 11 day winning streak.. but its expected. Right now working on writing my own application to trade the opens. Will probable take me a few weeks at least since I don't have a freakin clue about VB... but I do have Visual Basic 6 and I am teaching myself. Will probably head over to Borders to buy a book or two. For the first time in months Trading is possessing every minute of my thoughts. I think about different strategies until I fall alseep at night. This is how it was when I first started trading except I am much more patient now. Feels good to feel this passionate about the game again.
you might wanna check CompUSA on 5th Av and 40s.......they should have those thick programming languages books for half price.
being a recent college student.. i can say that the 4600 you have made this month is a nice month ... however you seem imply that its pocket change... perhaps i am missing the scale of income expected from trading.. congrats

VERY PISSED RIGHT NOW!!! This better be fixed by Monday or I am leaving for another firm.
