NYMEX TO CHANGE TRADING HOURS FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 NEW YORK, N.Y., September 22, 2005 - The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will change the trading hours on Sunday, September 25 only for NYMEX ACCESS© electronic trading, NYMEX ClearPort© electronic trading and clearing, and NYMEX miNYsm futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange GLOBEX© trading system. Energy contracts will begin trading on NYMEX ACCESS© at 10 AM Eastern time (with a market pre-open at 9:40 AM) on Sunday and will continue until Monday at 9:30 AM, the end of regular overnight trading for these products. NYMEX ClearPort© trading and clearing for all products will commence at 10 AM Eastern time (with a market pre-open at 9:40 AM) on Sunday and continue through to its regular trading hours. NYMEX miNYsm crude oil and natural gas futures contracts will begin trading at 5 PM Eastern time on Sunday and will continue until Monday at 9:30 AM, the end of regular overnight trading for these products. thanks for the heads up ... well ... unless you are a full member or have a full service firm with "access" to full size NYMEX access execution one will have to wait until late afternoon to trade the e mini ny crude oil contract
