hahaha. i went there a few months ago (on business, i live in Costa Rica)...My mothers maiden name was Connolly, so i though i would check it out....meat factory is right!!! 80/20 guys girls. Found better girls at some dark irish pub drinking guiness..true actually. Going back to NYC for about a month in jan/feb. love to meet some folks who know the ropes.
Try the Ginger Man. It's on 36th between 5th and madison. Lots of great beer from all over. I couldn't tell you much more than that, it seems that the beer there is more potent than regular beer... i had 4 over the course of several hours, and can't remember anything that happened after that. Same goes for the people I was with.
NoBu 57 had some real lookers in the bar last Thursday. It will set you back a few bucks for a snack and couple a Vodkas!
