If US govt lifts the ban on exporting Nvidia's chips to China, their price will skyrocket even higher
$NVDA only 6% away from an ATH ($120+) after Citron, Seeking Alpha and Motley Fool did their best to crash it...impressive
CES next week NVIDIA is going to demonstrate the next generation in AI Xavier and autonomous driving. Expect big orders coming in for Xavier for the next quarter and beyond. Autonomous cars will be hitting the roads starting yesterday with Tesla. The future looks bright for NVDA earnings. https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2016/09/28/xavier/ http://www.pcworld.com/article/3125...ext-gen-xavier-self-driving-car-computer.html
Wow, you really are in love I believe that if the Bears were relying to much on momentum indies like RSI, which is showing overbought readings since may, some might have been wiped out. But seing GOOG and Tesla also down recently, the clear rejection this week suggest NVDA might at least be consolidating. Profitable 2017 all!
I'm sorry but that's complete and utter bull. I watched and re-watched that video a few times. Any living, breathing driver following at a safe distance would have been able to (a) observe the traffic was no longer flowing (b) safety stop. Any driver who thinks they would have been incapable of doing that should not be driving. Personally, I am more scared about the type of people who rely on a computer to get them out of trouble.
Trust me, I understand the limitations of the technology perfectly well, as do multiple people I know who work in the automotive industry. In a nutshell, its way way way too early for people to become reliant on such gimmicks. What I'm saying is that Tesla have good PR people and the media put too much of a positive spin on that story.
Yep. At least once every couple days I run into a situation where my Excel freezes and crashes, or my latest iPhone has a stuck screen, or the Netflix interface has a glitch. These types of technological glitches have been minor inconveniences up until this point, but will be fatal when they occur in 3,000 pound cars travelling at 70 miles per hour. I cannot imagine the size of the malfeasance lawsuits that will occur when the first fatalities occur that would have been avoidable if not for autopilot technology. Autopilot driving technology may be feasible on Nevada highways at 2 in the morning in the near future, but widespread feasibility is still years, if not decades away in my opinion.
"reliant on such gimmicks" You know nothing of the technology. But you have the opportunity to learn, watch CES this week. "Tesla have good PR people and the media put too much of a positive spin on that story. Yeah, ok......Fact is, Tesla had nothing to do with the news story. Back up that statement with FACTS on how Tesla PR promoted that news story. The Tesla owner made the video available, not Tesla. LOL @ "too much positive spin on the story" As I pointed out. You used a flawed tangential argument that "Any driver paying attention could have stopped that car" but fail to account for the fact of all the rear end collisions that occur every day. So how was this statement incorrect>>>>>? "Here is the NBC news article and video of NVIDIA Drive PX2 avoiding a roll over accident for a Tesla driver." ....as I said. The vehicle braked before the driver and avoided a collision. My statement is accurate.
