Nvda will be used in tons of auto driving tech. AI and games are not large enough to bring big money into it. Not sure where it'll stop, but for now is definitely a momo bullish trade almost daily.
Gaming is a huge multi billion dollar industry which generates a big chunk of steady revenue as Nvidia is the clear leader. They make the best graphics hardware. NVDA is the leader in graphics and eSports, Virtual Reality will be huge. eSports alone is growing exponentially and top pc gamers demand Nvidia. eSports gamers are competing for millions and that requires the best and fastest graphics performance, plus NVDA offers great graphics products to every price point. I think NVDA is going to be generating revenue in the billions from the growth of these emerging technologies and others. I don't see the need to trade NVDA. The run for NVDA is just getting started. For me, Buy and Hold on this one is much easier than trying to guess it's gyrations. Trading I would just increase my risk and miss profits.
So does every gamer. Gamers want Nvidia graphics cards not AMD. I'm no big gamer but I would not buy a new computer with an AMD chip in there. I want Nvidia products because it is the best. Most people do. Elon Musk is a smart tech guru entrepreneur and he wants Nvidia for his Tesla's. Nvidia and Tesla are working together to bring the first fully autonomous car and they will get it done. Nvidia Drive PX and its successors will be in many cars. Tesla has to have the best technology and other auto manufacturers will have to do the same.
Self Driving cars are just around the corner. Jen-Hsun talking about Self Driving Technology Nvidia Drive PX2 learning to drive.
A little of topic from NVDA, but take a look at MGA. Rumors of agreement with AAPL for the I-car, or whatever it's called. They just signed an agreement with Innoviz, who specializes in lidar tech. Great stock to buy and hold otm future calls on this next bounce.
This is true, I remember the times when NVDA and AMD were really close in terms of quality. Today it's different.
Been through this cycle before on graphic card companies. Keep your options open. Just saying. And AMD is screwed, their chips have always sucked. Anyone remember Cyrix? Just a feeling. This is not investment advice, just a heads-up, like 20 years in the making.
