    Hi, all

Does anyone here still use a Quadro NVS 400 to drive four monitors for displaying charts?

I wonder how acceptable the card's performance is, with only 64MB in RAM.

Any input would be most welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  2. No worries. The NVS 400 still has plenty of grunt for running 4 monitors in a trading environment. Getting long in the tooth, however. The major problem would be that the NVS 400 is so old, it doesn't support some modern monitor resolutions... plus, newer OSs may not support that card.

At some point, you're forced to either keep using an old OS or replace the video card with something newer.

  3. I think I use to have that card. Occasional black outs but for the most part it is fine if your just trading. If you want a real card get the ATI Fire PRo 2450.

Gnomey (Scat) recommended these to me maybe 5-6 years ago. They powered my 4 monitors thru all kinds of financial crisises (huh?).

    Anyway they're damn good.
    Gnomey knows his shit.
    Thanks Gnomey.
