I am thinking of switching to NT and was wondering which DOM is easier for trading ES intraday.

thanks, I will look forward to the responses

Static would be easier, but you have to pay extra. With static you have to purchase TT transaction credits. Check out the support section on their webpage.

Just use the dynamic DOM and hit the space bar to stop the ladder while you make a trade.

Depends on your time horizon. And instrument.

If you are a scalper in the emini family Id say go with static.

If you trade something else or longer time frame, no need for static.

Go watch one of the Ninja Trader free webinars and then ask the host to demonstrate the DOM in static vs dynamic mode. If it's not a problem why pay extra.

Also, you can "freeze" the dom in dynamic mode but that's extra mouse/keyboard clicks and it really is easier to correctly get the price you want to go in/xit on with static if you're scalping.
