Effective January 3rd NQBX will pay $1.40 per 1000 for REMOVING liquidity and charge $1.80 per 1000 for ADDING. Overall very good pricing for traders that go in between bids, definetly will help with margins. http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/Trader.aspx?id=bx_pricing
I'll be interested in seeing whether they can get significant volume. That looks even higher than payment-for-order-flow arrangements, which are supposedly around .001/sh. If it takes volume from PFOF, great -- I hope to see something break the stranglehold the 5 big payment-for-order-flow firms have on retail volume, as most "mainstream" retail orders never even hit an exchange without the PFOF oligopoly having the right of first refusal. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20101217/ts_nm/us_markets_dumb_money
