NQ stop loss

For NQ intraday trades for which I won't sit through any retracement, I use a 1.5pt stop -- all depends on how quickly you know you are wrong.

 

geez! 1.5 point stop? It almost seems like you stop out as soon as you enter the trade the way NQ trades!

I used around 10pts stop on NQ. Works fine. Sometimes that's wide and other times it's too tight. But most of the time it works.

 

How did you derive those figures ?
