Agree, I guess though, this could be one of this trades where one is sent into the chop, but lets leave that aside for the moment.

This are the entries identified in real time during the day. These apply for the fearful, the brave should have taken the long at 9:50 and sit on his hands.

Fearful might have exited at 1052 or 1053 because of DL break. Then would have re-entered later around 1100 or after NH and some RET.

The brave has no need to be out after the first entry.

Ok, here are my trades for the day.

I have added REV entries according to AMT and multiple exits. I am still working on my plan, I think I am closer now. Will work on it and post it just in case someone wants to comment on it.

Gabe, is not that simple, today was not a trend day, therefore this approach is not going to yield its full potential, but even with that kind of environment you still catch a good piece of the movement.

I could be wrong though, just testing.

The all-in/all-out approach always yields better results in hindsight.

  8. I have been wrong too many times so I stopped using absolutes.
I was commenting on todays trades.
If we hit a period of chop, the all-in/all-out may work better.
In trending days, I would say that most of the time, a scale-out approach would fair better.

An interesting day, got up early and I think that was the trick. As any entry after the open would have been problematic.

The drill was easy, buy a RET and hold it. First exit was the break of the line, second one the break of LSL and the third one, the LH at the top of the hourly TC and the fact that it was almost 11:00.

Here are the trades for the day.

After the opening upswing failed to become an uptrend at the PMH I failed to take a REV, and just lost interest in the trend (really lost focus out of my failure to take the REV, need to work on that). Although there were several entries for those looking for a short.

The short of the day was taken (after I felt up to the task again) after buyers failed to reach the 50% from 9:38 and failed to make a HH. But that was a scratch, too early for the entry and too late for me was almost 11:00 and had to wrap it up.
