Sure there are big gains to be made,, but DAMM the range is just nuts. I pay attention to ATR. Usually on a 5 minute chart the ATR for NQ is about 5-16 depending on the day. Today and yesterday,,, it is as high as 30 or more. That means that on my chart there are 5min candles of even 60 points! yes 60 points, not 60 ticks. It sure makes it tough to set a reasonable stop. I am just fine that I am on the sidelines right now. Will be back with real money trades by November.
