we are not talking about changes in expectation regarding cbo thresholds...
    your story said...

"It’s also useful to note that, already, overall, the ACA premiums are less than what was expected when the bill passed."

If the President knew premiums were going up not down at the time of passage... because of some cbo threshold...then he is the biggest liar in history... and this whole thing was is and was propaganda...

either way you are a lying ass leftist.

Take you pick obama is the liar or you article is leftist propaganda.

Yeah, obama told us premiums were going down, we were going to insure people with pre existing conditions, and we were going to insure 30 million new people with no adverse effects to anyones healthcare.

And rejects like this exGOP guy are still blindly trying to defend the concept we can get something from nothing, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, on top of basic logic.

You are confusing two issues, you deluded moron

Obama said your premiums would be lower by 2500 when he was campaigning for President, that bill didn't pass and it didn't have a mandate.

After the ACA passed, the CBO lowered the premium expectations which is what Cruz was lying about.

Got it? If you haven't yet, dont bother me with more of your delusions. You were the guy whining about skewed polls for days on end till reality hit you on the face on election day. Keep believing whatever drivel you want, nobody cares.

Actually Heritage Foundation said that in the 1990's and I still believe what they said given how it has worked out in MA.

People are already getting something for nothing, it's called the Reagan mandate. You get that repealed and I will support the repeal of ACA otherwise I don't like freeloaders mooching off the system. Funny how you keep ignoring that aspect, like you are not comfortable dealing with that particular point.

Even with the public option only FUCKING IDIOT would have believed we were going to insure 30 million new people plus people with pre existing conditions at the same time we lower healthcare premiums by 2500$ per year for everyone. Thats just more of your left wing "Something for nothing" math.

Again, you brain dead Con, I don't have to believe in any blog bubble, I rely on data and math to form my beliefs and I am happy to change my beliefs if information changes.

Funny, how you keep avoiding the Reagan mandate, why aren't you baggers trying to get that moocher mandate repealed?

If you mean Liberman represented the hartford insurance companies I think you have it all wrong.

The insurance companies owned Pelosi, Reid and Obama from Day 1.

The insurance companies were concerned that Single Payer would take over...

So they spent money like hell and hired lobbyists and pulled their crooked politicians in and told them... not only there would be no single payer... but that the govt was going to force americans to buy insurance.

The White House encouraged Baucus to quietly negotiate deals with the insurance lobby, drug companies and other special interest groups, despite promises to run a different kind of White House. "The president said that having people at the table is better than having them throw stuff at the table," White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer tells FRONTLINE.

But the deals were often controversial. FRONTLINE investigates how, near the start of the health care reform process, Baucus and the White House negotiated a secret $80 billion deal with Billy Tauzin, the former Louisiana congressman who had become the pharmaceutical industry's top lobbyist.

"People who thought that the pharmaceutical industry was still reaping profits that were excessive were unhappy with that deal and were particularly unhappy that it got cut behind closed doors," says the co-chair of Obama's transition team, John Podesta.

The pact with Tauzin was only the beginning of a series of deals designed to win over potential opponents. The most notorious agreement, known as the
