Yeah and I forgot about the Battle of Atttu between Japan & America on the Alaskan coast (islands). Crazy aspect...it's the largest uninhabited part of the United States. Another crazy aspect, most killed were killed in hand-to-hand combat in the Battle of Attu. wrbtrader
More and more everyday. I was told right here on the forum that because it is next to impossible to repeal the second amendment that we can’t stop all of the guns and gun violence and just have to live with it though.
That is your interpretation of what was being said to you. In fact you were being told that if you want to remove or restrict guns to the extent that you apparently want that your only remedy would be to repeal the Second, so you should- at some point- start asking yourself when you and your comrades are going to work toward that- given that the repetitive whining year after year apparently is not getting you there. No one said you "just have to live with it." The message was that it would require great work and apparently you are saying "everyone knows we don't do great work, we are just whiners so they must be telling us that we have have to just live with it." Nope. Go for it. Or you do your usual routine which is to hope that one of your dem presidents will issue an unconstitutional executive order, and then you will be all outraged when the courts do not uphold it. And round and round you go. Try doing some work for a change. And there is also a means of people such as me stopping you too- democracy and all.
Yes, well, now, have I/we not said that it is not a gun problem but a problem of America turning out a lower form and unstable type of citizenry? We are in the latter days of Rome. And the darkness that goes with the social destruction and personal confusion that your party has wrought is upon us.
Social destruction. Lol. You could be transported to America 1964 and fir right in. What I will say is that this country is indeed dividing. Forget the cultural stuff. When you look at the past two decades the basic policy split between the states in terms of things like healthcare, gun laws, education, etc is quite stark in terms of democrat and republican states. We simply are moving apart as a country.
There are statistics that show LESS than 10% of mass shootings occur by individuals considered to be mentally unstable or under psychological/psychiatric care. Vast majority of mass shootings and mass murder are committed by people without mental illness, and certainly not psychotic illness Thus, all other mass shooters were normal Americans until they snapped sort'uv speak and then when a loved one or friend noticed something wasn't normal...it was too late or they didn't have the resources to legally take their weapons away. I've seen people snap for reasons like nasty divorce, the death of a child, mounting financial debt/medical debt, loss of home or about to lose their home due to foreclosure, termination from their job, bullying (they are the bully or they bullied others), history of domestic violence, social media problems et cetera... Luckily they didn't have access to a gun or assault weapon and they have a loved one/friend that would intervene. Yet, that's a horrible responsibility to have about someone else that is starting to act like a person that could snap from stresses in life. Seriously, this Pandemic has put a lot of Americans on edge in their own heads. They're waiting to be pushed over the edge from something we may view as no big deal. I am shocked there are not more mass shootings in America while we're coming out of this Pandemic. My America is a fucked up country and I know I made the right decision in raising my children in a safer country, not because of mass shootings... it was because America has a serious problem with guns, murders, assaults, drugs, lack of respect for their environment/community...period. #unhinged wrbtrader
No, there is a cultural collapse and political divide builds around those who want to plunge further into cultural chaos versus those who want to at least slow it down. Generation after generation of children who have never had a father in the home. Parents who fear that their children are off at school colluding with teachers and "counselors" about how to have their private parts cut off to one of the six genders they have chosen. Blacks who live in a re-segregated society based on skin color and have learned that you are either an oppressor or a victim in this world. Immigrants who arrive with no loyalty to the country and fly the flag of another country when they cross the border. Women being erased and replaced by some pervert who has a dick but claims to be a woman, and appears as "women of the year" on a magazine cover. A society where your home is increasingly a tent on the sidewalk and you openly shoot up drugs and shit right there in public. Kids who either do not graduate or if they do many have the reading and math level of a second grader and it is considered to be white colonialism to foster any standards or expectations amongst them. A country where if you ask a nominee to the highest court in the nation if she can define a woman she says: "I cannot." You think these are not cultural changes, but just democrat/republican political divides? NO. You are turning the country into a dangerously confused shithole and the guns are increasingly just an expression of the underlying rot.
You really think a well trained army has not invaded the U.S. because a small percentage of citizens with no military training or skills is armed with some pistols?? it is because of the U.S. military not asshat citizens. Is the Mexican cartel afraid of U.S. forces or Bubba Joe with a rifle? Oh.... brief history lesson... google War of 1812 as your teacher might have skipped that one .
