Not paying Data Fee twice in a month

Discussion in 'Data Sets and Feeds' started by Cre8UrF8, Oct 17, 2005.

  1. I want to use Esignal with my firms software, but don't want to pay data fees to both Esignal and the firm. I remeber reading a thread that said you only have to pay a data fee to one provider in a month, but I can't find the thread now. Can anyone shed light on this? If I can only pay non-pro data fees for Esignal and not have to pay pro data fees to firm I would like to save myself the money, a couple of friends are also interested in this. Is this correct and how do you go about doing it?

Urban legend. Data fees are specified as "per display device". ESignal is one display device, your trading platform is another.

I assume that you already checked with your firm that your trading platform can't take its datafeed from ESignal.

If you trade OPM (including your own LLC), you are supposed to pay pro fees. Not that lots of people don't cheat, making it more expensive for those that do play by the rules. But what else is new in this business :(
