This kind of vote buying RIVALS that of "the old days," where politicians used to give out bottles and cases of liquor to registered voters. A process that is highly illegal. All I can say is the democommunists are quite smart. Not only can they get away with vote buying today, they figured out a way to keep the sheep voting: give them something they rely on, and make sure it's something that can be "turned off" if the sheep don't vote democrat.

If our Founding Fathers were alive, they'd be busy hanging these tyrants for what they've done to THEIR Country!

  2. This is like the subsidy to public broadcasting. If you can't eliminate something this indefensible, how can you ever cut anything?

Reagan's original idea that people have some means of summoning emrgency assistance had some merit, although it was clearly not something the federal government should have been providing. Somehow that has morphed into providing fee cell phones and substantial free monthly useage. It's outrageous, yet no one will oppose it except this one guy from SC.

    So is your "argument".

"It's a FACT that if the military didn't exist then business could not sell them $900 toilet seats."

"The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government, created by Congressional statute (see 47 U.S.C. § 151 and 47 U.S.C. § 154)"

  9. I'm aware that they're a federal agency. The point is, the fed govt, which includes their agencies, has no enumerated power to provide arbitrary goods to the public. Or to use tax revenue for that purpose. State govts could, the fed govt can't. Again it's all about the rules, if we followed them we wouldn't be in this colossal mess.
