Has anyone read Geoffrey Heard's (an Aussie) opinion on why the United States is in Iraq? He claims the war is really over the huge implications of the euro replacing the dollar as the currency for trading oil. http://www.globalpolicy.org/nations/sovereign/dollar/2003/03oil.htm Although I found his proposed solutions at the end a bit weak, but the main context of the article seems to make sense, and supports a strong case for war...or does it? Comments, anyone?
