You think that a couple unknown whales and an unknown founder have your best interest at heart? Our political economy is a machine that can and is adjusted over time. We the People have that power. We elect representatives to do work we believe in. If they don't, we can haul them to jail or fire them. All I hear from your common comment is defeat, anger, rejection for idealism.
We the people really have the power eh? What majority of people voted for this wealth distribution? https://wolfstreet.com/2022/04/03/m...reatest-economic-injustice-in-recent-history/ Which politicians have gone to jail? As far as I can tell, most officials are filthy rich... Obama, Pelosi, even Bernie Sanders who "fights" for the little guy.
Quite a few actually... And those are only the federal politicians: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_federal_politicians_convicted_of_crimes You are also speaking strictly about the US system and I invite you to read my comments to Dead Dog on another post about the unique reality of the US political economy, namely that its weak government at the mercy of powerful business lobbies are a feature, not a flaw of the system. I would like to add that by design the US protects minority interests against majority rule. It's a tremendously powerful protection with ramifications filled with double edges abused by all.
Oh come now, they are not ALL that bad. Your president which suffers from dementia and a handful of other disorders at least has done well to clean up America's evil oil/pipeline industry by killing it, and thus ensuring that even your enemies in elsewhere parts of the world get much bigger pieces of the pie. Congrats to him, many other countries are not as forgiving to their enemies. A real hero...
