it really does not matter whether the trades work or not....make sure there are reasons good technical reasons for it.then in the long run it will work out

Is that a cryptic way of you talking probabilities ? B/c if we are talking probabilities, then saying "make sure you have a good reason for taking a trade" cannot be quantified and thus the statement "in the long run it will work out" is false. Many traders have thought they had a good reason for taking a trade only to lose their a$$. I know I have.

I'm not trying to get on your case, but I know the Indian culture has a habit of using this abstract meditative language to drown out fact and it sounds like this is rubbing off into your journal.

Also, are these journal entries meant as a way to think out loud or are u trying to give advice to others ?

though brooks usd only one time frame and one security i think it has helped me to see a longer time frame as well as trade multiple securities

    thanks for commenting.
i am not qualified to give advice.
in trading you do not have to be accountable to anyone else and that is a problem: there is tendency to do stupid things.
so having a public journal is helpful towards that end.

    yes
also trying to document why i took the trade.this is easier said than done because trading may be subjective but this is the very reason i am trying to do it.
because whether the trade is winner or loser i get so caught up in the emotional side that i do not have a clue why i did what i did.

but i am having a big problem in entering all the trades and the reasons for them sometimes because it just too much work.

another good thing i noticed recently is trying to see on which side of a moving average the market spends more time [bars] on.if any.

it used to happen to me also.
this is because any strategy that is valid will be valid in all time frames and most of the time they will be giving conflicting signals.
for those who understand this this is huge opportunity because you can use one time frame to get an advantageous entry into another time frame.

i have only recently understood what many traders already know that you have to see multiple time frames.the risk here if you are not clear about your strategy you may get confused
