NOT 1 attack on july 4

  1. This argument doesn't make any sense. The IRA hasn't been targeting Americans. Al Queida (however you spell it) has been targeting U.S. citizens. The Brits are a friendly government. Afghanistan was not and was facilitating the terrorists. The Brits are actively combating terrorism in their territories and frankly haven't asked for and probably don't need us meddling in their affairs.

Israel relies on the U.S. to maintain its security. If we stepped back Israel would be overrun - maybe not immediately but eventually. When has Blair asked for our help in fighting the IRA?

Maybe we needed an excuse to get to Afganistan too. Oil/Energy companies own this government.

Is this also a coincidence?.. makes one think:

..In 1998, Dick Cheney, now US vice-president but then chief executive of a major oil services company, remarked: "I cannot think of a time when we have had a region emerge as suddenly to become as strategically significant as the Caspian." But the oil and gas there is worthless until it is moved. The only route which makes both political and economic sense is through Afghanistan....

...Unocal invited some of the leaders of the Taliban to Houston, where they were royally entertained. The company suggested paying these barbarians 15 cents for every thousand cubic feet of gas it pumped through the land they had conquered....

Maybe we new about the attacks and let them happen, (FBI CIA had more than enough info) we just didn't anticipate the WTC collapse, only expected some highjackings or an airliner downed...

Makes one wonder what really happens behind closed doors, and how little human life means. It seems that oil $$$ and power our the real priorities
