Does a Basic/Personal/Home edition (whatever they call the shit) support import/export settings including firewall rules? If yes, what is the utility or a third party utility? If not, is it possible to manually backup some encoded files or registry? Does anyone have experience with this? Symantec is greedy. They want you to be subscribers in order to do even pretty basic upgrades. If you do not renew and have to reinstall, you cannot even upgrade to the status before the expiration. What a shame. The crap consumes huge resources. It is slow. It is expensive. It is tedious to use and is full of holes. I really regret I didn't buy a hardware firewall. The software firewall + this kind of business scheme = ripoff. Way to go DOWN Symantec shares!!!
