I am an old timer too. I remember the first time driving to UCF I turned off Semoran onto Universtiy Blvd and drove through a whole lot of nuthin'. I could not understand why anyone would put a campus in the middle of nowhere. 10 acres for 70k was an extraordinarily good deal. I bought 1.5 acres off Rouse 30 years ago and paid 25k.
