open a TD ameritrade account, deposit $100. Get TOS and data for free, use IB to execute orders

This will depend on your software and your activity level. If your software requires live trade to enter trades like ours, this won't work. If you are active, not knowing the current market, especially for options, can cost you more than the data feeds.

  4. Thanks Robert. IB doesn't require data subscription, I can trade on delayed data. I just checked out TD, they offer free live data for stocks and options. They also offer free level II data which I don't even need.

  5. I contacted TD(TOS) and Fidelity today and they told me they don't open account for non-residents. SCHW wants minimum of $25k. I think I'll either pay the pro fees or I'll just keep my individual account for data.
