I'm happy she's gone, I think Al Brook's marketing budget was finished. I have yet to see a profitable trader trading Al Brooks's setups only. He's making more money selling books and a trading room than trading. He calls trades in his trading room AFTER the setups are created and the trade is profitable. Then he says: I just took that profitable setup... I mean common, are people really that stupid ?
NODoji may or may not be a good trader, however, that is not the point of their presence or former presence here. The point is advertisement of themselves to money managers, prop firm managers, fund managers, etc. When you see some trader on here who just seems too good to be true then its more or less an advertisement. I was reading somewhere where 25% of employers find their employees from the web...sites like LinkedIn. That is what I believe happens here daily. So, remember, NoDoji wasnt here to make friends or to show off her talents in a plea for security from the masses. It was all business to gain attention. She probably got an offer from someone and so she thought it was best to go somewhere else. Maybe someone on here did give her some money to trade with. She will be back one day when those offers grow stale...
First off, I am not an Al Brooks fan, I tried reading his book twice and it ended up in the fireplace, it was all over the place. And I wouldn't sell it on Amazon and let some other person toss it away. But not saying it total garbage, I just don't want to study much any more and you have to do so with him. This is a forum to help generate ideas and NoDoji certainly did so, just don't know why so many didn't care for someone doing that? Maybe you can explain? But before you do, have any of you tried to help others trade and made suggestions as she has done? I think it is great to see that all have an opinion but if I kept a closed mind to everyone's opinion, I would never learn anything. I never looked at Brooks room and I don't know how he advertises it to be, is it a service to learn or does he sell it as a service to call out signals? People who write books just don't make much from royalties unless you sell the book yourself like on a web page, but it is min if you let others sell it. I believe she left cause she just got tired of all the negative bullshit. Men are built different, and often thrive on negative bullshit, that is obvious cause majority of all posts are filled with it. Have a fun weekend all.
So you have good reason to think that big-money firms come here, to a public message board filled with constantly recycled aliases of the same guys fading trends, averaging down and scalping dimes while (defecating) hundred dollar bills come here looking for high-value recruits? Does anyone seriously think a public message board is fertile ground to recruit successful traders? That most (or even many) actual hedge fund and prop firm managers have even heard of this site let alone frequent it? Interesting
The "unknowing" newbies that come to places like this have a belief(hope) system in place that what they need to know is shared freely on the web in altruistic manner. They need to believe that active posters here have the secrets to trading all figured out. So I feel sorry for any "vendors" who waste their time here expecting fertile grounds for new clientele' Only after months and years of wandering lost in the proverbial desert, blowing up myriad accounts and countless thousands of dollars (or much more) are said newbies then experienced enough to seek proper and complete education where it exists. Which is most certainly not here, lest everyone who comes here would have all the answers by now.
what I said a week ago. it's that simple. she realizes the truth of trading in what it is, and she finally realized casting pearls in front of people who in turn spat on her repeatedly was not a positive outcome
