Ok, lesson learned, sounds like a deal.

I am missing something................HOW can anyone get a rhythm from the DOM? I missed that class. In todays electronic mkts orders can be dropped in a flash, cancelled/replaced. I would not even consider trading from the DOM.

PS: did not trade today, probably not tomorrow either. Next week, maybe trade reports and get refreshed for the new year.

Nod, imagine next year you make as much progress as you did this year. :)

CORRECTION: I reread and see you said rhythm from the s/r, my mistake. Sorry.

  2. Nice easy day for me. I had alarm wake me up. Saw a profitable setup. Set my targets and stops, went back to sleep.

Had a dream that I made money on the trade. Woke up, saw I actually did make money on trade, then went back to sleep.

Looking back, saw about 4 possible profitable setups, of which I took 1.

Another day of no trades. Internet problems in the morning, then ES traded in a massive 1 pt range.

I saw a setup with X, but hesitated on it and didn't chase it.

I watched GMCR quite a bit, but didn't trade it either.

So when the day was done, I'd traded trading for playing guitar :D

  4. I was on vacation and did not trade, however, over the weekend I was researching at stock ANX, and had a limit order in that got filled at .23. The stock today is .34 and I am up 65% so far in less than a day. However, I am not selling, this stock is breaking out hard, I really think some of the news that I am waiting for is starting to leak out, and we should see the stock over $ 1/sh in the near term.

    http://www.vanityfair.com/online/politics/2009/09/the-100-to-blame.html

Print out all pages (a lot) and place by the can to read from 1 to 100 at your leisure. This is a GREAT read and best read by not skipping around. It is an education of how corrupt these slimball creeps on wall street really are. (many politicians also, on both sides of the aisle as we all know)

A lesson in no matter how crooked the game is...........as long as the money keeps flowing in, no one wants to pull the plug.

No trading today, will watch the auctions next 2 days and MAYBE take a trade..............but relaxed and waiting for new year. Should be interesting year, Iran is having an internal festering revolt as we speak, no way the jewish nation is going to allow Iran to have nukes. Interest rates will be on front burner next year by Rick Santelli and his buddies in Chicago. The so called recovery will wilt next year, i might understand a women (fat chance), should be a fun year. :D   :)

  7. No risk now, I sold 1/2 the position today and will ride the rest. We went up another another 33%, so over 100% profit and over $ 1,000 real profit for just 2 days hold.

No trades today. I missed a few entries trying to use limit orders and didn't chase. After death by a thousand stops the other day, I prefer to wait patiently for what I consider the best setups and the action right now is not to my liking.

I'm watching GMCR closely for one more thrust of irrational exuberance, looking to short it for a ride back to the trend line (and who knows maybe another breakdown).

Right Nod, the mkt is dead until next year. I have been cleaning up on chores during the year end dead days. Checkup with eye doc and new glasses which are EXPENSIVE these days compared to not long ago. Cleaned up a billing conflict with the hospital, medicare and the Blue cross co-pay rejected a blood test because the hospital billed from the wrong referrel Dr, some bimbo from hospital said i was responsible for any unpaid bill. We finally cleared that up when a decent lady called and we found out why it was rejected. .................. Clearing up all conflicts to start new year on right foot. :)

Conflicts get in the way of my trading because trading requires a clear head.

I saw today where Joe Sixpack is starting to move some cash out of Bond funds into stock funds. Could they be thinking bonds are going to fall and stocks will rise? Maybe they are going to feed the final leg of a stock run and then lose their butts when the mkt tops out. I would assume as the macro economic situation stands now that stocks will only run higher if new fools are suckered in................the public is usually said sucker. 2010 should be interesting, as stated before.

I am making no prediction to trade on, just jabbering away as i wait for new year. :D 2010 will be far less posts in forums.

PS: One of the favorite things i look forward to watch every year on TV is the ROSE parade in Pasadena. Love to watch that. :)

But do not forget that the BIGHOG still believes in PRINCIPLES. I fight for the little guy and fight being unfairly charged for whatever reason. Higher prices do not stop me from buying something if i WANT it but at the same time something like a pair of glasses even if basic can be a huge expense for some famlies. That was the gist of the post. What if you and the wife or hubby needed new specs and also a couple of the kids. Cost a lot out of your budget?.........sure it would. Vision insurance plans are laughable.

Keep funding your account so i can get another couple spares for the car and seperate rooms. :D Do not be jealous of others by the way.

PS: Dental plans are also a joke. Medicare and most insurance plans do NOT pay for vision or dental when you retire. Not for average workers anyway, some fat cats get it at the cost of what products we ALL pay for. The little folk always pay for the crooks.
