It’s a common argument that trump is an outsider. But did you notice that the moment he won, the first person he hired was riece priebus (head of the Republican Party) as his chief of staff. He realized he needed insider people to do anything. Trump didn’t even know that all the White House staff (all like 800 of them) are fired on Inauguration Day and he has to rehire them all. Most are rubber stamped (like the chefs) but others are not. he was as much of the swamp as anyone. The only difference is that we don’t know how much he was grifting and we have a sense on pelosi and McConnell. Of course all grift is bad and we should continue to eliminate all of it.
