Bad practice.. poking a stick at someone you don't know.

I'm a Vietnam War veteran, and I've paid $Millions in income tax.

Have you EVER done anything to serve your country? Or are you just one of those guys with your hand out ready to vote for the one who promises to fill it?

In my own fruitless way, I'm trying to smarten some of you Obamabots up. After a while, you won't like living in the USSA. I know I'm not looking forward to it.

  2. Thank you for your service. But the argument still holds. Government should be run as a corporation, the president paid as a CEO and on and on. It's not just the "Tax" aspect of policy that should obey these laws.

Well, you're failing. Supply side economics rotted your brain.

Whoa, you've got me confused with someone else. Just because I think NObama and his philosophy is un-American and stinks, doesn't mean I'm a Bush supporter.

    So we get it.

You "hate" socialism. ( Although I doubt you even know what the fuck socialism is )

    You hate "obama" (he's black)

You'll vote for "none of the above" ( who are you kidding. You're a closet McCain voter ).

So you think McCain's TAX-CUT on the wealthy, TAX-INCREASE on the rest and MORE ENDLESS WARS will solve the following mess created by the Republican Congress along with Bush and Co.

Do you actually think the "trickle down" bull shit republican imbeciles mouth off actually works in reality?

Who is going to pay your debt?

If you pay millions in taxes it's because you consume more of the resources.

If you don't want to pay taxes, move to Colombia.

But then your wife will probably be kidnapped, raped and ransomed to you dead.

however in the U.S. you can rest assured your taxes pay for decent law enforcement where the criminals know they will be caught. So there is no kidnapping.

And I can state you have not read Obamas tax plan. McCains tax plan is very close to Obamas. The only differences are 1/ Obama has a 4% delta for those making a million and up 2/ Obama will eliminate the estate tax

lastly, we keep on reading how you pay "millions" in taxes.

You do NOT pay millions in taxes.

Stop the fuck lying and get a decent accountant.

However I suspect you are way too fucking cheap to spring for a good tax attorney/accountant.

  9. Whether Charles Barkley's statement is true or not is irrelevant. Why? The statement itself has no bearing upon meaningful political discourse. If Barkley had been able to say "Democrats have been in power for 40 years, and these people are still poor", then he could point to a real failure of the Democrats.

Looking at Barkley's statement from another angle - Consider this hypothetical scenario:
    1) Republicans have been in power for 40 years
    2) Poor people have been voting Democrat for 40 years
    3) They're still poor.
Given this scenario, what would happen if, suddenly, all 'poor' people decided to vote Republican. Would their lot in life change for the better? No. The same party would be in power, with an even greater 'mandate'.

When examined for evidence of causation, Barkley's observation fails to be anything but a distraction from meaningful political discourse.
However, when viewed through a Mercorian Prism, it becomes a 'pearl of wisdom'.

    Conclusions:
Refraction can produce some amazing effects.
    Charles Barkley is a blowhard.

  10. Cutting out loopholes is as big a part of Obamas plan as taxing the rich.
