No wonder a degree isn't what it used to be

RCG is already suffering from corrective action. Why do you think he's stuck on third shift? LOL

  2. Not sure where we are here. PT is maybe a LPN, a great profession. RCG is an RN, also a great profession. There is a distinction between the two titles, education, training, I'm assuming.

Yet, we are seeing fights between the two, and have Luke continue to put down RCG, and yet not PT. Neither should be put down IMO.

Am I close to the proper analysis? Did I miss something?

So he claims, given his documented indisputable history of compulsive pathological lying there is room for doubt.

    No, but nothing new here.
You always do, what makes you think this time is different?

RCG cracks me up. Would you rather tell patients you are a professional or you are licensed? I know lots of contractors that claim to be professional but the first thing I ask is, show me your license.

  5. Just for the sake clarity 3rd shift normally pays a premium of 10-15% to entice people to work odd hours. But of course you also are right in that the role of 3rd shift is primarily to wake pt's up to give them their sleeping pills and otherwise keep them asleep until the real workers return the next day.

No true work gets done, just documentation of meds delivered as ordered and the occasional fall when the dopeheads don't help the patients to the bathroom.

  6. Very cute, but can you please elaborate on how you and or what I missed here?

My ex, an RN, worked third for awhile. Seems like it was in part because of her lack of experience early on and in part due to the fact she didn't get along well with M.D's.

10 - 15% is a lot less than what RCG claimed the premium was. Not that I'm surprised.

Hundreds if not thousands of related posts. That is unless you want to admit to your other alias's.

  9. Having spent quite some time in hospitals, I think every shift, every health care person, is extremely valuable. I didn't stop to ask if the person helping me was a LPN, and RN, or an MD. I was sincerely grateful for them keeping me alive. FWIW.

I seem to recall a post by Maverick74 that RCG didn't work in a traditional hospital. It was something like a research facility. Maybe he is in charge of cleaning the monkey cages during the night. :D
