No way Obama wins a second term

  1. The dems wont let her run in 2012 unless Obama is polling in the 20's

She is going to be pretty old in 2016 but she has a shot.I don't know how much of a shot though as her policies are very similar to Obamas so it depends on how happy the country is when Obama leaves office in 2016/17

  3. The Bankers and men in the shadows who control the President will never allow for someone who will push for a flat tax as well.Radicals like Paul,Ross Perot etc have no chance

No way Hillary runs. Look how much she's aged. Imagine what that will look like in 3 more years. Huck is a joke. Just what the country needs. A Bible thumper from the south. Yeeeehaaaawww.
The press will make sure Romney doesn't run. Palin is a joke. A bad joke. Thanks, John, for making her a national figure. Obama will really have to FU to not win a second term. GOP is toast.

  7. SIAP but if Obama is the candidate in 2012 then he will win if Palin runs third party.

    Ross Perot redux.

  8. unfortunately, I think this is the most likely outcome at this point.

Unless something comes out like an Elliot Spitzer or a Mark Sanford, Obama is the likely. Sitting presidents usually do well.

The (world) economy and our national deficits are the wild card. We are still hemorrhaging jobs. If we sink into a depression-like scenario or taxes soar, Obama might be cooked.

  9. Arnie,

I seem to agree with you more than I disagree and I went back and look at your previous posts too. You are correct Obama really has to FU to not win a second term. Even if Obama loses VA, NC and IN but wins FL or OH and one of the 3 western states (NV, NM, CO) it's a lock. It's possible to win just by winning FL or OH too and lose VA, NC, IN, CO, NM, NV.

If I were a Republican the least of my worry is 2012 but how the country is changing and the current message is not working. Calling Democrats socialist does not have the same effect that it used to have when USSR was powerful. I was watching a video on dailykos where they were calling a WW2 vet a socialist. If socialism is what we had under Clinton and capitalism is what we had under Bush, I choose socialism any day.
