No such thing as Noise fallacy

  1. Value is shit for dumb retail traders.

We aren't smart enough or have access to as much Information to be Value Investors, picking undervalued Stocks.

I prefer WHERE IS THE MONEY ?!
Came across value from the gambling world.
A value bet is one with positive expectancy.
That’s nice in theory but value is fuzzy.
That’s why bettors use half kelly.
    Because we ain’t really sure.

    Who is "we"?

You come across as much more credible if you phrased that comment "I'm not smart enough nor have access to as much Information to be Value Investors, picking undervalued Stocks."

Heard there is a time for growth and a time for value. Lately the market has been about growth stocks (due to expensive economic policies) but there used to be a time when value (ETFs) outperformed growth ones.

Not sure about BRK-A (Buffet). He’s a league in his own. Transcending market conditions. +170% over 5 years vs 80% SPY vs -13% ARKK

  6. No. "We"

I stand by that. The Market, those big Funds have discarded those low priced stocks, they have a tonne of more Stock/Inside knowledge than us.

You are trading against the Trend/the Market/those big Funds when looking for low valued Stocks.

  7. The only person here I've seen capable of picking low valued Stocks is @longandshort coz he's institutionally trained.

The rest of us are dumb Trend Followers ;)

  10. Just to finish up this Thread, so we can get back to E.T.s core business; discussing Trump..

So in conclusion, the only true way to eliminate the pitfalls of trading Noise, isn't to trade in the direction of the longer term Trend, or even trade longer timeframes, but rather to extrapolate out/forward those Fundamentals using A.I.
